After spending 2 weeks of intense work in a remote school in the central region of Malawi finding the pottery lodge was a godsend. We arrived mid afternoon and after a short discussion with the reception staff we were shown to our rooms. The rooms all had the same stunning view out across the lake and were clean with fresh towels on the beds and flowers in the bathroom. The little kitchen was clean and there were stocks of tea and coffee ready to use along with the fridge which had been turned on and was cold. Brand new AC unit fitted also. The food was fantastic, although the menu was a bit limited, with fresh fish from the lake being the pick of the bunch, or maybe the T-bone….all served by enthusiastic staff. With music laid on both nights and a well stocked fridge our trip was complete.
